Ary was the first wife of Charles Joel Herrin was born in 1804 in North Carolina. He is burried in the Neal Cemetery in Lawrence County TN. Ary was buried on land owned owned by the family of Daniel May (MAY 102) (died 1833) what is now the May Cemetery.

CJ Herrin was born in Wayne County, NC on May 7, 1804 Son of Joel Herrin and Edith Fulghum. Ary and CJ were in Lawrence County, TN in or before 1826 when he is seen on 1826 tax list. CJ was an attorney and served as "Chairman of the County Court of Lawrence County" in 1828. CJ and Ary and a daughter Mary E who was born in 1835 or 36 who may have died in 1860 at the age of 24. Si it is likely Ary died during childbirth or soon after. CJ died May 20, 1889.

 Being an attorney may explain why Ary was buried on May land that at the time of her daeth was probably owned by Frederick May (MAY 103).
