Funeral services for Clarence Luther May, 83, retired farmer, were held at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon at Bennett-May Funeral Home, conducted by the Rev. Mack Pinkelton, Baptist minister. Burial took place at the Hughes Cemetery near the Giles-Lawrence County line. Mr. May died Sunday, October 23, at the home of his son, Lee May, on Route 5, Pulaski.
A native of Lawrence County, he was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. George H. May. His wife, Mrs. Tassie Sparkman May, is deceased.
Mr. May is survived by two sons, Lee May, Pulaski, and Clarence May, Jr., California; one daughter, Mrs. B. A. Davis, Washington, D. C.; thirteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; two brothers, Monnie May, Giles County, and Eugene May, Oregon; and one sister, Mrs. Rebecca Johnson, Wisconsin.

Funeral services for Monie May, 82, retired farmer of the Bodenham Community, were held at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon at Moriah Cumberland Presbyterian Church with the burial in the church cemetery. Mr. May died Sunday at his home. A native of Lawrence County, he was the son of the late George H. May and Martha Hughes May.
Mr. May is survived by his wife, Mrs. Florence Braly May; one daughter, Mrs. Roy Miles, Giles County; one grandson; one sister, Mrs. Rebecca Johnson, Wisconsin; and one brother, Eugene May, Medford, Ore.

Funeral services for Mrs. Florence Braly May, 81, widow of Monnie May, were held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at Moriah Cumberland Presbyterian Church, conducted by the pastor of the church, the Rev. Robert Hall. Burial took place in the church cemetery. Mrs. May died at 11 o'clock Monday night, April 23, at her home in Bodenham, after a period of declining health.
Born March 26, 1881, in Giles County, she was the daughter of the late R. C. Braly and Virginia Neal Braly. She was a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Her husband, Monnie May, died March 10, this year.
Mrs. May is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Geneva Miles; one sister, Mrs. Charlie Zeigler; and one brother, Finis Braly, all of the Bodenham community. Bennett-May and Company in charge of arrangements
