Marie May Smith was my Dad's {Alvin MAY 106} favorite Aunt. He spoke of her often when we were in Tennessee. We were able to visit here a couple of times when the auction in Shelbyville ended early and we stayed over to go to Chattanooga on Tuesday.

It was in the spring of 1983 when I last visited Great Aunt Marie. I was able to spend a few hours talking to her about the May Family. She talked about the love for her family and the sadness she had over the fact that the May family had grown apart. A few months before she died  I called her for Dad and they talked a while.
